Return Eligibility
We accept returns for items that arrive damaged with defects such as fabric tears or broken zippers. Please note that slight variations in fabric or color are not considered defects.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
Size or Color Changes
If you need to modify the size or color of your item, email us at hi@madinathepeople.com within 24 hours. Once an order is fulfilled, no changes can be made.
Items Not Eligible for Return
Because each piece is produced in limited quantities and made-to-order, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges for fit or sizing. To help you find the best fit, we strongly encourage you to check our Size Guide and reach out with any sizing questions before placing your order.
In exceptional cases, a store credit may be offered at our discretion for fit issues. Please contact hi@madinathepeople.com about your case. Items will then need to be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided the piece is unworn and in its original condition.
A store credit is a gift card for the full amount paid with no expiration date.
Additionally, we cannot accept returns on items marked as final sale
How to Initiate a Return for a Defective or Incorrect Item
If your item arrives defective or incorrect, please contact hi@madinathepeople.com within 14 days of receiving your order with photos of the issue and your order number.
We will review your request and, if approved, provide you with instructions for returning your item.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Returns are reviewed and processed within 5–7 business days of being received.
Processing Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
At this time, we are unable to offer exchanges.
